Along with Shitbird and Kool Skull, Wizwars pushed the new energy and spastic punk attitude of chipthrash into the spotlight in the late 2000's. His EP "Welcome To Thrash City" was one of the earliest Datathrash releases and helped define both what chipthrash was about and what Datathrash Recordings hoped to be. With output ranging from wonderfully melodic to downright terrifying, Wizwars is an artist that any scene would be lucky to have.

ウィズウォーズの伝説 (The Legend of Wizwars) is the first full length album by Southern California based chiptune artist Kevin "Wizwars" Martinez. It is made up of high energy melodically driven anthems written between January 2009 and March 2013 entirely using Nintendo Game Boys. While some of these songs were previously released on demo EPs (most of which are no longer available) or various compilations, these tracks can be considered the definitive versions.
